About Us

I have spent my whole life loving animals and couldn't imagine a world without pets. I have trained dogs to the highest levels and competed in a sport formerly known as Schutzhund. Through that journey, I learned so much and gained an even deeper appreciation for how amazing dogs are and what they are capable of.

When I retired from my career as a futures trader at the CME, my focus turned to building a life around my passion for animals. Having never found boarding facilities that truly met my standards for my own dogs, I spent five years searching across the country for the perfect pet resort. That's when I discovered Almost Home Pet Resort.

Almost Home Pet Resort offered exactly what I had been looking for: plenty of space for pets to enjoy time outside, without being confined to crates or cages all day. It's the kind of environment I would want for my own pets, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to live my passion every day, caring for animals.

Nothing is more satisfying than having the opportunity to care for someone else's furry family members. Our clients can relax and enjoy their time away, knowing their pets are happy, loved, and enjoying their stay just as much as they are enjoying their vacation.
